The blackberries are ripe from about the last week of June through the first week of August

Pickers are paid $1.00 per quart

Picking is done from 7:00 a.m. to noon

and from 5:00 p.m. to dark

Set your own hours

Pickers must be at least 12 years old, clean, respectful, self-motivated individuals who are able to work in a field. The berries are thornless, vines are trellised, there are no ticks, chiggers or snakes in the field. Pickers need to wear hats for shade and bring their own water bottle. Pickers must wash their hands each time they enter the field, wear shoes, no flip flops, and no sun screen to avoid contaminating the fruit.
